The sansevieria tornado has twisted dark green foliage with striking lime green edges, which is quite attractive. The name comes from how each glossy leaf is twisted and curled in a beautiful clockwise whirlpool pattern. Its low, rounded shape as a young plant makes it ideal for placement on a workstation or coffee table. It gradually grows upward to develop a central stem that is upright, creating a lovely floor-standing example.
